After pounding the pavement from Perth to Sydney, inspirational legend Nedd Brockmann has hinted there’s a new challenge just down the road.
Only a month after completing a gruelling 4,000 kilometre run across Australia, Nedd Brockmann’s getting another itch.
Hinting on the Dyl & Friends podcast earlier this week, Brockmann was excited talking about future endeavours. In particular, he gave a peek behind the curtain into what he is planning to do to top his 46-day journey from Western Australia to the iconic Bondi Beach.

“I don’t want to keep talking the talk, I definitely want to walk the walk,” Brockmann explained on the podcast.
“I know in two years time, I’m going to do another thing.
”I don’t want to put out what I’m doing yet, because I need to make sure it’s all set and then I’ll out it out (there).”
Buckley followed up, asking whether Brockmann has something specific in mind, to which he replied, “yeah, I do.”
“It will be running,” asked if his next challenge is running-related or something quite different.
“I love that running is what I can do,” he continued, “this time around it will be running.”
But he also made it clear he wants to persuit other disciplines, citing ‘kayaking’ as an example.
Adding fuel to his burning desire to reach higher heights, the 23-year-old wants his next challenge to be so outrageous that it grabs the attention of big name podcaster Joe Rogan.
“I’ve envisioned the whole Joe Rogan thing and me sitting down with him…it will happen, mark my words.
“In four years time it will be done.”
“I’m going to do something so out of this world that he just goes ‘what the **** man we need that guy on (The Joe Rogan Experience)’.”
This insane manifestation tactic has proven trustworthy in the past for Brockmann, with the now inspirational speaker having met many of his idols including champion UFC fighter Israel Adesanya.
“I’m not saying I deserved it, I just mean I had pictured this Adesanya moment for years,” Brockmann said.
“I went, how am I going to do this? I’m going to wear him down and he’s going to see me one day… I’m going to do something so gnarly that that bloke is going to be my mate.”
“I’m (now) messaging Adesanya like we’re deadset messaging and I’m going ‘can’t wait for your fight on the weekend’ and he’s saying ‘thanks mate you inspire me’.”
Brockmann confirmed other Australian icons reached out; comedian Hamish Blake and rockstar Jimmy Barnes.
“Any time Working Class Man came on the radio I would be envisioning me on stage with Jimmy Barnes.”
“When I got the message from Adesanya I was hyped up but I had a job to do. When I got the thing from Barnesy I went ‘I’ve got a job to do’. Hamish Blake commenting, I went ‘this is amazing but this is all part of it’.”
“At the end of the day, they are all here to see this and see me succeed so I have to get this done. So there was a fine line between ‘oh my god this is amazing and there’s so much support’ but they’re also following along enjoying me being me.”
Brockmann is still recovering from the run but his attention is starting to shift to his next big challenge, sharing that it is a couple years away.
Considering this man was able to run 100 kilometres a day by himself across the country, many will be full of anticipation to see what the great Nedd Brockmann comes up with next.
