While the potential merger between LIV, the PGA and the DP World Tour continues, so does the world of golf, with LIV announcing its tournament lineup for 2024.
The LIV Golf events for their third season have gone up a notch, with seven international events scheduled, including a return to Australia.
Although the major world golf leagues agreed to a merger back in June, that clearly doesn’t mean that there’s a friendly truce while the negotiation are being finalised, as multiple LIV Golf events in 2024 clash with marquee PGA Tour events.
The schedule which was released in late-November, unveiled 12 of LIV Golf’s 14 expected events, including those seven international matches.
Set to begin in early February in Mexico, the LIV Golf events for 2024 will run through to October at the latest, with the Individual Championship and Team Championship events still yet to have a date and venue assigned to them.
With plenty of LIV Golf action headed our way, here’s all the 14 scheduled events for 2024, including the return to Australia.

When and where is the 2024 LIV Golf event in Australia?
Adelaide, April 26-28 – The Grange Golf Course
After the success of the event in Adelaide in 2023, the South Australian capital has been rewarded by LIV Golf with another chance at hosting a 3-day tournament in their backyward.
The Grange Golf Course will once again play host for the sixth LIV Golf event of the year, with the scenes at the first edition of the event winning World’s Best Golf Event of 2023.
The ‘Watering Hole’ at the 12th green became one of the best scenes in recent golf memory, with a raucous crowd going crazy multiple times, but especially after they witnessed LIV Golf’s first ever hole-in-one.
How do you get tickets to LIV Golf’s Adelaide tournament?
The Adelaide LIV Golf event will be a must-attend on the sports calendar for 2024, with some of the world’s best golfer in action over the three days.
On LIV Golf’s website, there’s a wide variety of tickets to choose from, including single day ground passes, multiple day passes, private suites and the most alluring, the Shark Shack.
Unlike your usual golf events, the Shark Shack is loud and full of life, just next to the iconic 12th green ‘The Watering Hole’ – live DJs and three free drinks per ticket-holder.
Here’s where you can find all the ticketing information for the Adelaide LIV Golf event – here.
How can you watch the LIV Golf events in 2024?
There’s no exact confirmation just yet around how to stream the tournaments in 2024, but here in Australia all of them were free on 7 Plus in 2023.
According the LIV Golf’s website that seems to still be the case with 7 Plus listed as Australia’s national broadcasters.
What’s the latest on LIV and PGA’s merger agreement?
Negotiations to finalise the agreement of combining LIV, the PGA and the DP World Tour are not yet settled.
The proposed merger has been under investigation by the United States Justice Department over antitrust concerns, financial details of the Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, along with working out the logistics of each tour’s broadcast rights and sponsorships.
Initially it was hoped that an agreed upon merge would be signed, sealed and delivered by the deal’s December 31 deadline, but due to these investigations we can expect it to be some time until a merger is complete.
So both LIV Golf and the PGA Tour have released their schedule going forward, and it seems 2024 will be done individually.
