GolfSpace Sydney

Get excited golf fans, a new indoor golf facility has opened in Sydney!

GolfSpace, Australia’s ground-breaking new state-of-the-art indoor golfing experience, has recently opened at Alexandria and features 1,500-square-metres of the latest golf technology alongside a cafe and bar.

The venue features 12 TrackMan 4 Golf simulator bays along with Australia’s first PuttView augmented reality putting green and a unique 35-metre Wedge Calibration Zone.

The 12 simulator bays use advanced radar technology to provide a complete analysis of your game, making it easier to improve your swing in all situations by evaluating the launch angle, club speed, spin rate and carry, plus numerous other important areas of your game.

The golf simulator is an exciting addition to GolfSpace’s facility. The advanced and immersive simulator allows you to play through 18-holes at more than 140 of the world’s best golf courses including Pebble Beach, PGA National and St Andrews with a realistic, highly detailed experience.

The simulator bays form part of GolfSpace’s signature PlayMaker 6 program. The program operates the whole concept and uses integrated analysis to help people improve their golf game across all factors.

The program is known as a ‘coaching philosophy,’ taking a more data-driven approach to bring golfers measurable, fast gains and actionable feedback.

The six elements of the PlayMaker 6 program are ‘off the tee’, ‘approach the green’, ‘around the green’, ‘putting’, ‘course navigation’ and ‘mindset’.

‘Off the tee’ involves a full swing technique that focuses on a set of TrackMan considerations that help you achieve longer, straighter tee shots.

The ‘approach the green’ element is used on the fairway and the full swing technique is designed for iron play with an increased focus on shot accuracy in the scoring zone.

‘Around the green’ uses TrackMan in the Wedge Calibration zone and focuses on target selection and accuracy of your chip shots.

‘Putting’ uses the PuttView augmented reality putting green and the putting tuition provides real-time signals that are projected directly onto the green.

The ‘course navigation’ element teachers golf players how best to navigate each hole that will help lower your score which is based on your actual shot data.

‘Mindset’ will help you develop a pre-shot routine that will get you into a calm frame of mind that will provide consistency in your golf game.

For golf beginners, a pay-as-you-go social membership would be ideal. The membership would be perfect for people looking to practice, learn or play with no commitment.

GolfSpace club membership is ideal for golf players or beginners who are looking for regular weekly practice and access to discounts on all bookings. Club membership is available for an opening offer of $57 per week and provides a two hour session of PlayMaker 6 analysis for $150.

For golf players or beginners who are looking for a structured coaching program with near-unlimited practice time between lessons, the GolfSpace academy membership would be perfect. The membership includes a PlayMaker 6 analysis and lessons, plus TrackMan, PuttView and Wedge Calibration time every day.
