It’s a debate that will rage across the 29 days of the tournament and is still likely to not be settled – the best kit of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. And we’re not afraid to make the big calls.
As the world cup in Qatar gets underway, many football fanatics are having their say on which of the 32 countries competing have the cleanest kit.
It seems every four years there is a competition to not only hold up the trophy but to hold the title of best dressed.
Each team has released two designs to wear across the tournament; a home and away outfit.
So with 64 jerseys in rotation this year, here are our five favourite kits of the FIFA World Cup.

5. Argentina (Home)
You cannot have a top five list without including the classic blue and white striped jersey of Argentina.
The history of the design goes way back to the country’s world cup winning days with Diego Maradona and the legacy is still alive with Lionel Messi.
Argentina have made slight changes to the iconic look, adding a black band around the bottom of the sleeves and ditching the ‘v’-neck for a circular finish.
4. Brazil (Away)
It’s not a real World Cup without a great Brazilian jersey and they have delivered with their away kit for Qatar.
A theme across both of their kits for the world cup is leopard print and it stands out clearly on this jersey with a vibrant green making it an eye-catching piece.
Even star forward Richarlison loved the new look outfit labelling the jersey ‘the most beautiful in the world’.
3. Germany (Home)
They’ve had many famous jerseys over the years, namely their 1990 design, but Germany are back again with another subtle yet brilliant concept.
Their home kit displays the classic Adidas black stripes along the shoulders with a thick single stripe down the middle of the jersey.
Unlike previous World Cup kits, Germany have opted to keep the yellow and red colours of their flag to a minimum. Instead of embroidering it across the chest of the jersey, they have used them as borders along the collar and sides of the kit.
2. England (Away)
Their fans are dreaming of bringing the cup home but England have already achieved one great feat.
After three consecutive World Cups with plain single-coloured outfits, the Poms have come back strong with a retro collared away kit.
The design resembles the 1990 design when Italy played host.
1. Croatia (Home) – White
Coming in at number one on our list of the best 2022 FIFA World Cup kits is Croatia’s home jersey.
The design is a play on the side’s logo which has the red and white squares but to see it enlarged on the kit is a great touch.
The squares are randomly sorted across the front of the jersey, however in 2018 they opted to have them in a pattern which was far too much.
Taking into account the improvements to the kit and the style Croatia has chosen, this kit is the best one going around this World Cup.
