Streaming giant Netflix has a Break Point Season 2 in the pipeline, after another epic year on the ATP and WTA tours across 2023.
It comes after both parts of the opening season proved to be big winners with both hardcore tennis fans and content addicts that have a looser interest in the sport.
This year saw several stars emerge on the women’s circuit, with the tennis majors shared around evenly, while Novak Djokovic made an enormous push towards proving he’s the GOAT on the men’s side.
The docu-series followed selected athletes on the tour, as they worked their way through some of the sport’s biggest tournaments.
It largely followed the model made familiar and famous by wildly popular show Drive to Survive.
What is the release date for Break Point Season 2?

Part one of the first season came out in January, in the midst of the 2023 Australian Open. Given how much tennis is in our lives the second half of the month, it would make sense for Netflix to drop its new season before mid-January. That would give fans time and an opportunity to consume Break Point Season 2 ahead of the year’s first Grand Slam, where new storylines will unfold.

Break Point Season 2 trailer
The official trailer for the return season only recently landed in our laps. Here it is and what we can expect:
Break Point Season 2 cast and featured players
The juicy details on which players will ‘make the cut’ for Break Point Season 2 is still to be determined.
The polarising Novak Djokovic would be must-see TV, given his exceptional 2023 campaign that saw three additional Grand Slam singles wins added to his resume.
The love was shared in the WTA, with four different players claiming each of the four major singles titles; Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Markéta Vondroušová and Coco Gauff. Swiatek is incredibly popular with fans, Vondroušová came out of nowhere to win Wimbledon and Gauff’s journey to Grand Slam champion would make for captivating viewing as well.
So there are no shortage of possibilities, depending on how producers have planned and executed Season 2.
The maiden season of Break Point featured stars like Ons Jabeur, Iga Świątek, Nick Kyrgios, Maria Sakkari, Paula Badosa, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Ajla Tomljanović.
