Here comes Break Point Part 2.
Netflix’s love affair with sports docu-series is certainly on firm ground and we don’t have to wait long for more ace content to hit our device.
The streaming giant has another Break Point tennis offering in the oven; a second part of Season One. It comes alongside the announcement Full Swing Season 2 is also in the pipeline.
Season One of the docu-series was a smash hit, profiling players throughout the Grand Slam calendar and documenting all of the on and off-court drama. That included Novak Djokovic’s deportation ahead of the 2022 Australian Open. But it turns out that was just Part 1, with now another collection of episodes nearing release.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at what we can expect from Part 2 of the Netflix sensation.
When is Break Point Part 2 coming to Netflix?
June 21, 2023
Break Point Part 2 will be released exclusively on Netflix. The streaming giant will leverage tennis hype generated by the 2023 French Open, like it did with the Australian Open in January.
Part 2 comes almost exactly six months after the first season was released. This means you’ve got plenty of time to catch up on season 1 if you haven’t already.
Part 1 was five episodes and the follow-up to that will feature episodes 6-10 of the season, following the 2022 Tour. That means one of the featured aspects of Part 2 will be Nick Kyrgios’ eventful and unlikely run to the Wimbledon final.
Releasing Part 2 just after the conclusion of Roland Garros is a wise call, as tennis fans experience minor post-tournament withdrawals! It also lands right in that ‘sweet spot’ of no major tournaments between the French Open and then Wimbledon, which starts July 3.
Is there a trailer for Part 2?
As of very recently, yes. As you’ll see, Netflix are heavily teasing Serena Williams’ farewell at Flushing Meadows. That element of the Part 2 series will most likely come towards the back end, after Wimbledon 2022 is featured.
If you somehow managed to miss Part 1 of Netflix’s hit docu-series, and/or the trailer for that, HERE IT IS.
What will Part 2 of Break Point cover?
We don’t know much more about what exactly Part 2 of Break Point will cover, and who on Tour will be followed around. But we can be sure that Nick Kyrgios and his run to the Wimbledon Final will also feature heavily. He reached a maiden slam decider, but went down to Novak Djokovic in a gripping battle.
Whether the news of Kyrgios’ common assault charge is included in the story of his run to the final will undoubtedly be a talking point. He plead guilty to one count earlier in 2023, but the charge was later dismissed. Regardless of how that all ended, it was an inconvenient interruption to his tournament campaign and left some fans conflicted.
Along with Kyrgios, the names and faces on the Break Point promos are Taylor Fritz, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Felix Auger-Alissime, alongside female legends like World No. 1 Iga Swiatek, Paula Badosa, Aryna Sablenka, Ajla Tomljanovic and more.
What other docu-series are available right now?
While you may have to wait a little longer for Break Point Part 2, you won’t be bored because there are dozens of sporting docu-series and films on streaming services right now for your bingeing pleasure.
In addition to Formula 1: Drive to Survive itself, there is also Full Swing (golf), The Test (cricket), Make or Break (surfing), Welcome to Wrexham (football), as well as an upcoming Netflix project on Le Tour De France.
