It was an emotional farewell at Anfield.
Liverpool legend Bobby Firmino bid farewell to fans at home, ahead of his departure at the end of the 2022/23 season. But the despair for Reds supporters will be offset; the club has since announced it will release a documentary on Firmino.
It remains unclear exactly where Firmino will end up after his contract with the Reds expires at the end of the season, but after scoring the equaliser in his final home game, Bobby can likely rest assured that many clubs across Europe will be picking up the phone.
What do we know about the Bobby Firmino documentary?
Liverpool announced the documentary on social media following Bobby’s last game, confirming that it will be an LFC Original.

The club is remaining tight-lipped on exactly when we can expect the documentary to drop, but we can assume it will continue filming until the end of Bobby’s tenure with the club and will not be released until at least the end of the season.
As for subject matter, there is no shortage of material for LFC to choose from. Since signing under Jurgen Klopp in Jul 2015, Firmino proved instrumental in the club’s successful UEFA Champions League campaign (2018-19), the UEFA Super Cup (2019), Premier League title (2019-20), FIFA Club World Cup (2019), and FA Cup victory (2019-20).
He also made up part of the iconic Fab Four — alongside Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho — which later became the Fab Three after Coutinho’s departure.
With more than 100 goals for the club, a full trophy cabinet and a lifelong legacy, the documentary is set to be a nostalgia trip for fans who are mourning his departure.

Considering the documentary is an LFC Original, it will likely be released on the Liverpool FC website and YouTube channel, which means fans will be able to watch it without having to pay for another streaming service (which we all know is really starting to add up!).
